Troubleshooting

ISSUE CAUSE REMEDY
It is not possible to create a vacuum in the system. 1. Pump lubricant not pure.
2. Pump malfunction.
3. Aspiration of condensable
vapours without opening the
ballast valve.		 1. Change the oil (see 8.2.1).
2. Contact an Authorised Service Centre.
3. Open the ballast valve (see 4.2.2).
If the problem persists contact an Authorised
Service Centre.
Excess pressure inside the pump casing. 1. Bleed valve (8) may be
obstructed.		 1. Free the bleed valve immediately.
If the problem persists contact an Authorised
Service Centre.
Overheating protection device inside pump trips. 1. Pump motor overheating. 1. Switch off pump immediately and
contact an Authorised Service Centre.
